The unique pillow not only provides comfort with its hollowfibre filling but it includes a built in speaker. Now you may think why has it taken so long for someone to come up with the idea. Believe it or not, in 1984 a similar product was available but it was disontinued after people complained about the speakers digging into their heads whilst they were sleeping

The specially designed pillow allows only sounds to reach the person intened. Allowing you to listen to your favourite tunes wihtout having to wake up your partner.

The pillow has been said to help people with tinnitus and insomnia as they can create a background noise which can help them get to sleep. The sound pillow has a number of other uses such as listening to audio books or learning a foreign language, relaxation or self-help tracks, additional comfort whilst listening to music or the television in bed without disturbing your partner. It’s also ideal to take on long journeys for a comfortable source of entertainment, in the car, train or plane and other passengers will not be disturbed.

To get the pillow connected all you nned us a music source with a 3.5mm stereo plug. The pillow can be brought from Sound Asleep for £20 or $40.

 

Many people come up with bright ideas and this is definitely one of them. The Enlightenment Bookshelf Lamp is made out of plexiglass and fits perfectly into any bookshelf.  The lamp uses a enery-saver globe and when lit up the word ‘The Enlightment’ can be seen at the front and on the binding.  The lamp cost $130 but 10% goes to education projects run by the Edukans Foundation.
