In order to mark the 40th anniversary of Mercedes-AMG – the high-performance brand of the Mercedes Car Group, they are offering a “40th Anniversary CL65 AMG.” A new type of paint finish reflects this exclusive version with only 40 being made around the world.The 6.0 litre V12 Biturbo produces 612bhp(450kW) and a staggering 1000Nm torque, enough torque to tow your house and the garage. AMG’s characteristic engine carries the monster 2240kg body to 62mph(100km/h) in just 4.4secs and over the quater mile stretch in 13.3secs, now datscool!!!

To stop this two tonne beast, AMG have equipped the CL65 with its twin sliding caliper braking system. The high-performance brake system which sets new standards for stopping power, sensitivity and resistance to fading. This new technology combines the advantages of a floating-caliper brake – lower heat transfer to the brake fluid and significantly enhanced comfort as a result of the way the brake pads are located – with the performance of a large fixed-caliper brake.The polished 20-inch AMG twin-spoke forged wheels sit well on the CL65.
