Loewe Invisio Transparent Television
This TV designed by Michael Friebe is a clear, frameless glass surface. When operational, it combines conventional LCD and the latest TOLED display technology to create non-transparent / solid moving pictures. Much better than the black screen that’s currently sitting in our living rooms!
WVIL concept camera
The Artefact design team has come up with what they envisage to be the future of SLR cameras. The concept is to bring together the capabilities of smart phones with SLR-quality optics.
It is a sleek looking design with a body made from aluminum and magnesium alloy. It also has an in-built antenna which allows GPS, Bluetooth and WirelessHD meaning you can share your images instantly if you wish. Dats Cool particularly likes the fact that the lens mount is compatible with the Nikon F mount, Canon EF mount, Micro Four Thirds and Leica M – excellent!

Nintendo 3DS
Nintendo have finally announced that the Nintendo 3DS will be available on March 27th 2011. Dats Cool can’t wait to try out this gaming device which features 3D graphics without the need for glasses. There is a built-in 3D depth slider that allows you adjust the 3D settings which means you can play in 2D if you would like to. It also comes with built-in motion sensor and gyro sensor – all the tilting whilst gaming might actually have some effect now!
Available in aqua blue and cosmo black and will cost $249.99.
Fortune cookie purse
Keeping in the spirit of Chinese New Year, Dats Cool found these cute little coin purses by Diana Eng which we hope will bring us good luck and good fortune. Shaped liked fortune cookies, they are made of leather and each have a unique etched number. How cute! A little bit of good fortune to carry our coinage.
Crumpler Chinese New Year 2011
Crumpler is a brand which Dats Cool has watched flourish over the last couple of decades. That cute little logo can now be spotted in many stores around the globe. This year, Crumpler is also paying tribute to Chinese New Year in the Year of the Rabbit with a limited edition line. The bags are in a bright red – a colour of luck for the Chinese. We’re not sure whether carrying one of these will necessarily bring luck, but we sure do like them!
