Sleep with headphones in your pillow
The unique pillow not only provides comfort with its hollowfibre filling but it includes a built in speaker. Now you may think why has it taken so long for someone to come up with the idea. Believe it or not, in 1984 a similar product was available but it was disontinued after people complained about the speakers digging into their heads whilst they were sleeping
The specially designed pillow allows only sounds to reach the person intended, allowing you to listen to your favourite tunes without having to wake up your partner.
The pillow has been said to help people with tinnitus and insomnia as they can create a background noise which can help them get to sleep. The sound pillow has a number of other uses such as listening to audio books or learning a foreign language, relaxation or self-help tracks, additional comfort whilst listening to music or the television in bed without disturbing your partner. It’s also ideal to take on long journeys for a comfortable source of entertainment, in the car, train or plane.
Audio to the pillow is via a 3.5mm stereo jack which is available on most devices such as your iPod. The pillow can be brought from Sound Asleep for £20 or $40.
Koenigsegg CCXR Limted Edition
Due to popular demand, Koenigsegg has created the CCXR Special Edition.
It features a 4.8L twin supercharged Koenigsegg engine, together with many other unique features. The car is more track biased compared to the standard models, as it has stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, reset dampers and lowered chassis. It also features a fully visible carbon body a large adjustable rear wing, larger front splitter and side strakes for increased down force and a unique forged wheel design.
The CCXR is the second most powerful car in the world that runs on E85 ethanol fuel. It reaches 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of over 250mph. The Bugatti Veyron is the only other production car that is faster the Koenigsegg.
Unveiling of the CCXR will be at the Geneva Motor show in March 2008, where the first delivery will take place with a price tag $2.3 million each.
Romance in New York
Dats Cool got their hands on an email that has been circulating around since October 2007. The email includes a clipping from ‘The Independent on Sunday’ in New York. It shows a confused female claiming to be beautiful and looking to marry a rich man with a salary above 500K a year. This is followed by a reply from an investment banker and thats all I’m going to say as this is a must read!!!
