Wi-Fi Signal Status T-Shirt

For those who like to steal other peoples bandwidth, here is a cool T-Shirt that allows you to detect when there is a signal close by. The animated decal at the front glows when it detects 802.11b or 802.11g signals, prompting you to take out your laptop and start start surfing and downloading for free.

The only drawback is that the T-Shirt operates on three AAA batteries concealed in the shirt making it quite heavy unlike conventional T-Shirts. The T-Shirt is washable but you need to remember to take off the peelable animated decal before throwing it into the washing machne.

Available from Think Geek for $29.95.

Just about everyone has a red laser pointer but have you ever seen someone with a green laser point? Not really because it could do some serious damage. Have a look at this video as the guy demonstrates just how lethal a green laser pointer can be.This pointer is significantly brighter (about 50 times) than a red laser pointer and because of its unusual color it is much more noticeable. The green beam itself can be seen in mid-air in dark conditions, not just the laser beam dot and can be seen at much greater distances. This allows the green laser pointer to be used for skypointing or burning toy figures like in the video.

The Green Laser Pointer can be purchased from dealextreme for around $45.

Hypersonic A2 Plane Hypersonic A2 Plane

Everyone dreads the thought of flying. Therefore, being able to fly in 1/5 of the time is like a dream and that dream has become reality with the A2 plane. The A2 plane is designed by engineering company Reaction Engines based in Oxfordshire and can carry 300 passengers at a top speed of almost 4,000 mph (6,400 kmh), five times the speed of sound. It operates on liquid hydrogen, which is more ecologically friendly as it gives off water and nitrous oxide instead of carbon emissions.Passengers would have to put up with having no windows, due to problems with heat produced at high speeds. Instead designers may put flat screen televisions where the windows would be, giving the impression of seeing outside.

The fares will be comparable to current first class tickets.
