HP Envy 13 and 15
There finally seems to be PC Laptop that can compete in the same design class as the Apple MAC’s. The new HP Envy 13 and 15 line will be marketed as HP’s premium line of laptops. The entire chasis is made up of a aluminium and magnesium bonded material. The metals are anodized several layers deep making the laptop durable, scratch-resistant and lightweight.
The Envy 13 has a 13.3 inch widescreen, capable of producing 1366 by 768 resolution. Very similar to the Macbook 13 inch laptops, though it is slighter thinner at .8 inches and lighter at 3.74 lbs. However, HP have decided to omit the CD/DVD Drive but an external drive is available.
The Envy 15 has a 15 inch widescreen with a 1366 by 768 or 1920 by 1080 screen resolution. It is one inch thicker than the Envy 13 and weighs 5.2 pounds. HP will be provide an USB Blu-ray drive to take advantage of the 1080p resolution.
Inside the chasis houses Intel’s next generation Core i7 processor and supports up to 16GB of memory. The beast is powered by a standard six-cell Lithium Polymer battery, which gives you about 7 hours. Plus you can get an extended battery, which covers the complete base and with that HP claim to extend battery life to 18 hours.
MiLi Evolution Mini Power Projector

The MiLi Mini Power Projector turns your iPod Touch or iPhone into a portable cinema. It can project an image from 5 to 40 inches at 640-by-480 resolution (though the company says it can go all the way up to 70 inches), and it comes with an adjustable focus wheel to make sure your image is as crisp as possible.
The device can run on your iPod battery or for $99 you can purchase a power pack. The MiLi Power Porojector is only compatible with the iPod touch and iPhone range.
The price will be announced upon release of the product.
Sony Vaio Z Series

Sony has unveiled its new Vaio Z series and this thing has some serious specs. It has a Core 2 Duo T9900 3 Processor, 8Gb RAM, 512SSD, Nvdia 9300M graphics, analog and digital tv tuner, HDMI and if your feeling like spending a fair bit more than you can opt for the Bluray drive.
Everything mentioned above makes this laptop appealing but evenmore so it only weighs 1.5kg. The price is yet to be known but I can assure you it won’t be less than $3,000.
