Uysse Nardin’ Chairman Smart Phone’s are not covered in diamonds or dipped in gold but they sure place great emphasis on beautiful craftmanship.

Celebrated Swiss vanguard watchmaker Ulysse Nardin has partnered with the European firm, SCI Innovations, to create the world’s first hybrid smart phone called the ‘Chairman’. This smart phone pairs cutting-edge kinetic technology with the pedigree of the 163-year-old timepiece innovator. While details are limited, it has been confirmed that the Chairman will be able to use any mobile phone service provider in the world and includes several components never seen before in a smart phone.

It will incorporate a Ulysse Nardin designed kinetic rotor system which is blended into the mechanical and aesthetical design of the smart phone. This smart-phone is hand-assembled under the strictest guidelines mandated by Ulysse Nardin.

Wanna be cool then you need to go green, yep just look at every yuppy in their Prius. That’s why we’ve put this Biodegradable bag by 60 up there on the cool list. The bags are made out of flax-viscose fabric non woven fabric which is manufactured in Poland. The flax-viscose fabric is made from flax fiber industrial waste, meaning it doesn’t exploit any natural resources and requires very little energy to produce (unlike solar power panels).

With this new technology, the bags naturally decompose approximately 60 days after being discarded. Therefore, there is no need for expensive recycling or disposal in landfills.

The hotel is 321 meters or 1,053 feet high and has been designed to resemble a billowing sail. The cost of staying in a suite begins at $1,000 per night and increases to over $15,000 per night; the Royal Suite is the most expensive, at $28,000 per night.

We have seen many different types of futuristic watches with strange shapes and design but none so unique as this. Now lets welcome the Nail watch, that can be worn on the thumb. You may have never seen a watch that can be worn on the thumb but times are going to change thanks to Timex. Timex, in collaboration with Core77, held a global design competition called 2154: the future of time design. So what we are seeing here is the TX54 concept which was a runner up there.

Thanks to a translucent body, the design blends seamlessly with the nail while a selection of text color options and a glow feature activating on command make it supremely functional as well. Press the end of your thumbnail, and the watch will light up for you. A perfect blend of appearance, user interface, and technology, the nail watch passes most standards of modern design with flying colors thanks to its functional and minimalist appeal. The watch looks stylish and chic and has a touch of Geeky style as well. The downside of this watch is that it is disposable. So with so many stylish watched being available now, it will be hard for it to survive in the market. Though it is quite innovative with a minimalist design, but it wont last long on your finger.

No details about the availability or the price of this watch has been released by Timex. But since it is tiny and disposable, I dont expect the price to be high.
