Sony has unveiled its new Vaio Z series and this thing has some serious specs. It has a Core 2 Duo T9900 3 Processor, 8Gb RAM, 512SSD, Nvdia 9300M graphics, analog and digital tv tuner, HDMI and if your feeling like spending a fair bit more than you can opt for the Bluray drive.
Everything mentioned above makes this laptop appealing but evenmore so it only weighs 1.5kg. The price is yet to be known but I can assure you it won’t be less than $3,000.
Archos 9

Archos 9 PC Tablet has a 8.9-inch 1024×600 pixel tablet powered by Intel’s 800MHz or 1.2GHz Atom Z515 processor. It’s also packed with 1GB of memory, up to 120GB disk, webcam, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a dual antenna digital TV tuner and SIM card slot for WWAN connectivity. So basically it has everything you need to in a mobile device.
The Archos 9 also runs Windows 7 but since its a touchscreen device, the Archos 9 has added an optical mouse along with a stylus to allow users to interact with the OS.
The Archos rep says it’ll be priced between $650 and $800 when it ships around the time Windows 7 launches at the end of October.

Celebrated Swiss vanguard watchmaker Ulysse Nardin has partnered with the European firm, SCI Innovations, to create the world’s first hybrid smart phone called the ‘Chairman’. This smart phone pairs cutting-edge kinetic technology with the pedigree of the 163-year-old timepiece innovator. While details are limited, it has been confirmed that the Chairman will be able to use any mobile phone service provider in the world and includes several components never seen before in a smart phone.
It will incorporate a Ulysse Nardin designed kinetic rotor system which is blended into the mechanical and aesthetical design of the smart phone. This smart-phone is hand-assembled under the strictest guidelines mandated by Ulysse Nardin.
